Chris began playing guitar at age 18. Gathering and learning from the best including Ralph Buschmeyer, and Sherwood’s very own Brett Bossenbarry. Chris began learning jazz, and delving deeper into music theory, which soon led him to pursue teaching.

Chris has played in bands of different genres over the years including pop/punk, and has done studio work. He currently plays in a band doing anything from blues/jazz, country/rock and R & B. Chris continues expand his musical Knowledge and broaden his guitar playing, and is currently studying with a private jazz instructor who taught at Selkirk College (satellite school for Berklee College of Music.) His passion for music and theory, passing along his extensive knowledge and skills to eager learners makes Chris an excellent addition to our teaching studio. Chris is available to teach acoustic and electric guitar.
