Boss PX-1 Plugout FX Pedal
Regular price $350.00For decades, Roland and BOSS have shaped the sound of modern music with groundbreaking instruments, effects, and tools — from synths and drum machines to legendary guitar pedals. The PX-1 Plugout FX pedal carries that legacy forward as a pint-sized powerhouse packed with 16 iconic sound-sculpting effects drawn from BOSS’s storied history. A vivid LCD pairs with three responsive controls that adapt in real time to the selected effect, while Adaptive Focus (AF) processing delivers stunning fidelity and near-silent operation that has Sweetwater’s gigging guitarists raving. With USB-C and TRS-MIDI connectivity, true-stereo I/O, Bluetooth support, and a multimode Control/Expression input, the PX-1 is a compact yet prismatic platform for limitless pedal-powered creativity.
The PX-1 arrives loaded with history, featuring eight legendary BOSS pedals spanning classics and everyday essentials. Using the BOSS Effect Loader app, you can add eight more, filling the pedal’s user-assignable presets for effortless customization. From the groundbreaking originals circa 1977 to the ’90s-era PN-2 tremolo/pan, each virtual pedal has been meticulously recreated to deliver authentic, time-honored tones.

Beneath the PX-1’s familiar form factor, you’ll find a kaleidoscopic array of processing power. A crystalline 48kHz sampling frequency complements the 32-bit DA conversion, while the A/D input conversion pairs 24-bit processing with Roland’s and BOSS’s proprietary AF technology — a state-of-the-art method of drastically improving the signal-to-noise ratio of AD/DA conversion.
While the BOSS Effect Loader app expands your arsenal with additional pedals and deep parameter control, the PX-1 also delivers outstanding connectivity. A 3.5mm TRS-MIDI input makes syncing with hardware or software effects effortless, while the USB-C port connects directly to the app, supports MIDI, enables software updates, and doubles as a power source. Built-in Bluetooth adds wireless MIDI functionality and allows you to manage the pedal from your smart device. Finally, the tactile, face-mounted encoders — each fully clickable — give you precise hands-on control of every parameter, eliminating the need for tedious menu-diving.
