Jimi Hendrix is celebrated as one of rock's most groundbreaking guitarists, and now Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom and the Hendrix family, unveils the Jimi Hendrix "Love Drops" Flying V, a tribute to the guitar Hendrix extensively used from 1967-1969. Originally a Sunburst, this model is meticulously recreated with the psychedelic hand-painted graphics Hendrix applied to his Ebony-refinished Gibson Flying V. The "Love Drops" Flying V features a mahogany body, a one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded C profile, a laurel fretboard, and 22 medium jumbo frets. It includes an Inspired by Gibson Custom logo and a reproduction of Hendrix's signature on the 1967-style Flying V headstock, Epiphone Deluxe tuners, and a short Maestro Vibrola. The high-quality electronics consist of Gibson Custombucker humbucker pickups, CTS potentiometers, a Mallory tone capacitor, and a Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector switch and 1/4" output jack. An Epiphone hardshell case adorned with Inspired by Gibson Custom and Authentic Hendrix logos is also provided.
